Keith Urban is joining the superstar lineup on Best.Cover.Ever., a new competition series that gives emerging musicians from around the world a chance to perform with their favorite artists.
Best.Cover.Ever also includes previously announced artists Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, Backstreet Boys, Charlie Puth, Flo Rida, Nicky Jam and Jason Derulo.
“The internet is the ultimate vehicle for creative discovery,” says Keith. “It connects people, lets their talents be heard and sometimes produces stars. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens – to hearing how people interpret my songs – and, fingers crossed, to find a killer duet partner.”
Fans can enter by doing a creative cover of Keith’s “Somewhere In My Car” and submitting it on TheBestCoverEver.com.
Urban, along with the other superstar artists, will pick one lucky cover artist and they will perform a whole new song together. Viewers will witness every part of the planning and behind-the-scenes process as they mount this uniquely special music performance.
The series will premiere exclusively on YouTube this fall.
