It was supposed to be the adventure of a lifetime, soaring over the skies of Wyoming in a hot air balloon. Clint Phillips took his family for a hot air balloon ride, checking off a bucket list item for all of them. But when the wind took an unexpected turn, the balloon was sent barreling back toward the earth. Phillips and his family were in the basket with their pilot, and he filmed the terrifying crash on his phone. He said the balloon operator was overly casual leading up to the crash, and did not even warn the family to brace for impact as the basket barrelled toward the ground.
