Jana Kramer Shares Photos Of Husband Mike Caussin's Emotional Baptism

Jana Kramer is giving fans a look at her husband, Mike Caussin's baptism earlier this year.

The country singer turned to Instagram on Wednesday (September 23) to share photos and a video from the day Caussin was re-baptized in February. The first shot is a family photo showing the couple smiling alongside their two children, daughter Jolie Rae, 4, and Jace Joseph, 1.

For the caption, Kramer quoted a passage written by Caussin in their new book, The Good Fight: Wanting to Leave, Choosing to Stay, and the Powerful Practice for Loving Faithfully.

"February 16th 2020 I got baptized again. After four years of fighting my shame, my demons, my secrets, and my lies, I was fully ready to recommit my life to Christ...to admit that I need him in my life, that I love him, and that finally for the first time in over ten years, I KNOW that he loves me without any exception, and that I deserve his love," Caussin wrote in the eight chapter of the book.

In a separate post, Kramer shared a full video of the emotional baptism, which shows Caussin being dunked into the holy water. As he rises up out of the water, cheers erupt from the audience members watching. "Mikes recommitment to God," the country singer wrote in the caption.

Kramer and Caussin's new book, The Good Fight, was officially released on Tuesday (September 22). The self-help book offers fans advice and shares further details of the challenges that the couple has gone through during their own marriage.

"[At first] I was writing a book about my life and our relationship, and at the time we did a treatment that I gave to Mike. He just ripped it up and was like, 'You're not releasing this.' [He was] just full of shame, which I get [now]. At the time I was like, 'I want to help people,'" Kramer told People in a previous interview.

"We're not trying to claim that we have it all figured out," Caussin adds. "We learned from clinical professionals that we've had in our lives steer us in the right direction. We have the tools. [The book] is vulnerable, it's authentic, it's direct, it's funny, it's passionate."

The Good Fight is available now! Fans can grab a copy of the book here.
