Kelly Clarkson covered powerhouse country star Luke Combs’ “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” on The Kelly Clarkson Show. Clarkson’s performance takes place as Combs performed the anthemic single on the Bridgestone Arena stage at the 58th CMA Awards on Wednesday evening (November 20) in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

“Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” was the first single to release from the star-studded Twisters soundtrack earlier this year. The album also included songs by Miranda Lambert, Thomas Rhett, Lainey Wilson, Kane Brown, Megan Moroney, Jelly Roll and many others. Twisters premiered in July, nearly three decades after the iconic 1990s action film made its debut. Daisy Edgar-Jones, Anthony Ramos and Glen Powell star in the new Lee Isaac Chung-directed thriller. The movie follows Edgar-Jones’ character, “a retired tornado-chaser and meteorologist (who) is persuaded to return to Oklahoma to work with a new team and new technologies.”

Combs unleashed “Ain’t No Love In Oklahoma” in May. He staged a gnarly storm when he filmed the Alex Bittan-directed music video in Dickson, Tennessee, featuring a cameo from NASCAR race driver John Hunter Nemechek. Combs delivered an epic, fiery performance of the Twisters single when he took the stage on Country Music’s Biggest Night.

“I love Twisters. I’m gonna be real with you. Glen Powell was here, and he’s like, ‘oh, I did another Twister.’ I was like, ‘I don’t know that was a good plan,’ in my head, but it’s so good,” Clarkson said after her performance. “It was, you know, sequels usually aren’t as good. That’s such a great movie, and an awesome soundtrack as well. A few weeks ago, Luke turned his attention to actually helping the victims of Hurricane Helene, headlining the Concert for Carolina benefit alongside Eric Church, James Taylor and Billy Strings, which really was very cool. And if you want to help people affected by Hurricane Helene, head to redcross.org right now.”

Combs teamed up with Church to organize the massive Concert for Carolina benefit show to help people in their home state, North Carolina, in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Combs introduced Church to the stage during the 58th CMA Awards, when Church performed “Darkest Hour.” Church delivered his first solo release in more than three years in early October, and signed over publishing royalties to support the people of North Carolina. The Concert for Carolina raised more than $24.5 million to help with hurricane relief.
