Kelsea Ballerini confirmed on Thursday morning (November 6) new music is on the way after teasing Instagram followers by kicking off a countdown on her story.

Ballerini will release the first song from a 6-track EP — and premiere its music video — at midnight ET. The East Tennessee-born country star will debut “I Sit In Parks” from Mount Pleasant. The collection also includes “People Pleaser,” “Emerald City,” “587,” “The Revisionist” and “Check On Your Friends,” she confirmed in a post on Instagram. Mount Pleasant is due to arrive on Friday, November 14.

The project is the latest new music to release from Ballerini since she extended her fifth studio record, Patterns, with the deluxe edition earlier this year. The 20-track version of the album included “Future Tripping,” “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak,” “Hindsight Is Happiness,” and more. Last month, Ballerini released stripped versions of seven Patterns tracks: “Baggage,” “Patterns,” “We Broke Up,” “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak,” “Sorry Mom,” “Hindsight Is Happiness,” and “I Would, Would You.” See Ballerini’s Mount Pleasant and “I Sit In Parks” announcements below.
